Hi Cam,

I don't know about Orange County.  But, to the best of my knowledge,
the two most experienced PVP doctors in Southern California are Dr.
Reiter at UCLA, and Dr Laub in Santa Barbara.  It might be worth it to
do a little traveling for such an important procedure.

You will probably find there is not a big group to select from.

Have you looked at the listing on the laserscope site?

I researched the same question and found several in O.C. who had done more
than 20 procedures. I selected Dr Maggio (714 542 3563) and am very
satisfied with
his care. Mine was done in April 2005.  The last time I asked, he had done
over 30 PVP.  You will find most doctors evasive when questioned how many
they have done.  Be sure to get a real number, not an estimate.

Hi Bob,

How is your flow these days? I looked in the archives and saw that you
last reported on your PVP results in June 2005, 14 weeks after your
operation.  You said at that time that you were still having problems
with flow.  Has it gotten get better?  As a fellow Southern Californian
who's considering PVP, I'm naturally curious as to your current status.

Thanks,
Bruce Siegel
