Chronic Prostatitis and BPH - Rectal Symptoms?

I'm 50, have chronic prostatitis and BPH (34 cm).  I'm also on
Uroxatral (have been since being diagnosed in early January), a beta
blocker which has increased my ability to urinate.  However, I seem to
be experiencing this odd rectal sensation.  It's not pain but it's
almost like a strange "nausea" or painless toothache that seems to
increase when I need to have a bowel movement.  I know that I'm not
describing the symptom with great accuracy but this is the best that I
can do.

Has anyone else experienced this strange symptom or know anything about
it?

Thanks!

Lowell

It's an alpha blocker, not a beta blocker :-) ...Pete

Thanks, Pete.  You're right, it's an alpha blocker. My mistake.
