I have got a chronic inflamation of the prostate and perhaps other
parts of the my waterways too.
I am in the UK and am currently see a urologist for investigations.
I experience urinary urgency but sometimes it goes from OK to URGENT
in as little as 60 seconds. I want to carry a urine bottle in the
car (and maybe in my bag too) to avoid an accident.
I am on benefits. Would my GP be able to prescribe a travel urine
bottle? If not then very roughly what sort of price are they in the
UK?
Google suggests about £10 but i don't know if that is a typical
price. Google also finds disposable bottles but can I get that sort
of thing on the NHS?

I always carry in my car a 500 mL plastic bottle that formerly
contained peanut butter. It's under the seat and out of sight.
You can buy collapsible plastic bottles and they could be kept in a
briefcase. Or consider one of those flat plastic 12-oz booze bottles.
With these, your aim has to be good. :)
What particular requirements do you have for your pee bottle?

The Uribag has been recommended here in the past. I think that it is quite
widely stocked. You should be able to get that type of product free on the
NHS if you are on benefits.

Detrapan I believe relaxes spastic bladder. I would ask your urologist
about this.
