Watching this newsgroup and am frustrated by those who are suffering with
meds knowing the can, (as in are able to if they want to), and do have the
option to get PVP-ed or TURP-ed.   Please...get the PVP or TURP and stop the
meds!!!!!  (You'll save a lot of space on this newsgroup for more important
questions.)    Also, don't make a big deal about retro-ejaculation.   You
will hardly notice...it still feels great.   Let's see...What are the
options again?   Screwed up love life, or PVP?   Dizzy or PVP?   Tired and
muddled thinking all the time or PVP?  No erection or PVP?    I just don't
get what is causing everyone to be so damn reluctant to get off their meds
when PVP or TURP will do the trick?   Wishing you all the best, but please
stop your wining about meds when this newsgroup is so rich with advice on
PVP, etc.

Bong...I agree with not taking the meds, but I also respect the fear of
surgery that people have and may very well be justified.  BTW you should use
spell check.

Personally in retrospect I do not regard PVP as surgery, it was a lot less
hassle than having a tooth out and I could enjoy my dinner an hour after
coming round:-)

Great point Derek.  And hearing this from so many of us should go a long way
in relieving the fear that is such a big contributor to procrastination in
getting this procedure done and starting the path to recovery.  Jim W.

Personally I am one of the Worlds Greatest Cowards but I had read so much
about PVP in this NG that I was totally confident of success and I  had
viewed the Laserscope video a few times.

Me too and I hope others will be able to minimize their fears as well. Jim

Well, I guess you told us!  If only it was that simple.  For one thing,
the procedures cost a lot of money.  For another thing, most doctors
prefer to keep pushing the pills, unless they happen to be one of the
few who offer PVP.  It's not that easy to push past your doctor's
recommendations.  And finally, once you have the procedure, there's no
going back.  You can't undo it, so it's only reasonable to ask
questions and make sure it's the right option.  I thought that's what
this newsgroup was for.  Having said that, thanks for the input on
retro.  I hope you're right about it.  It's a worrisome issue for any
man
