To Whom It May Concern:

Please let me know how often should be taken the prostate biopsy if the PSA
is in the range of 4.2-4.8 ng/mL for a long time.

Much depends on your age and size/feel of your prostate. A large prostate
would normally cause a higher PSA. My PSA was first found to be 5.2 eleven
years ago and has been as high as 9.2 recently it settled around 7.00.  In
the first five years I had three negative biopsies and  have not been
advised to have another one.
