Earlier in the year, I had epididymo-orchitis in which my testicles
and/or epididymis were infected with a bacteria. The condition
responded well to antibiotics,
In addition, my urologist thinks I might have a bacterial prostate
infection.
I am wondering if the freshly produced but "off"-smelling semen
(which I noticed from time to time in the past year) was an indicator
of one of these infections?
I might add that my semen has been unusually watery for the last year
and I gather this too can indicate an infection. However my semen
had become its usual viscosity again.
---
Am not referring to semen which has an unusual but normal smell or
semen which smells because it is old and should have been washed
away. Instead I am talking about freshly produced semen.
So if freshly produced semen smells strongly and the smell is "off"
then could this be a sign of an infection?

Intresting enough for me, I for the most part had the same
symptoms...not saying semen has a plesant odor to begin with but as a
male you know the normal smell. Mine tended to have an off fishy smell
and became and still is alot more liquid than before where it was more
"snot" like. Is it a symptom I dont know, I have been fighting
prostatitis according to my uriologist now for a few months and the
epididymitis I had I believe in all honestly had been there for allot
longer than I noticed and just attributed it to a sensitive area.
