Just wondering why you substituted the ** instead of posting the full http?

Many hosting services do not like posting a "live" http and it may get
deleted.  It does make for a bit more work for someone interested in a site
but the reference may last longer.

Spread...good to hear from you.  I have no idea what's going on here, since
my news server didn't post the original post...Pete

Pete,

Did you get the whole thread?  If not just go to Google, Groups and do a
search for the title (Mayo Clinic on PVP).  That was from back in July!!

A couple interesting comments there such as a Dr. at JAX Mayo Clinic telling
someone who was heading for Dr. Lin for PVP, that they didn't do PVP there
because they didn't have the equipment and "He also indicated that if the
PVP procedure did not help, he could then do a TURP".

Thanks Rich...I had to backload another 600 messages and OE put the more
recent posts right back in July (smart little bugger :-) .  I thought that
was interesting about the h**p (if you recall your query on it).  Learn
something new every day.  I'd rather take the chance and have the "live" url
that you can click.  I will read the mayo article later.  Take care...Pete

That is an interesting article.  At the Jacksonville branch of Mayo they do
not do the PVP treatment.  They still like the TURP.

I had to go down the road to Dr. Lin for my PVP.

My guess is that the Jacksonville Docs. do not want to learn how to do the
PVP.

Bill
I too went down the road to see Dr. Lin for my PVP surgery after
leaving the JAX Mayo Clinic, as indicated in my 6/4/05 post "PVP 4 Week
Journal". While at the clinic I asked the doc why the PVP procedure is
not available, and his reply was that they do not have the equipment.
He also indicated that if the PVP procedure did not help, he could then
do a TURP. By the way, I am still doing well four months post PVP.
