Has anyone experienced lower back pain while taking Flowmax?  I  have been
taking it about one month and have developed lower back pain.

Back pains, muscle pains, dizziness and other symptoms.   Decided to try
something else.  Dr. talked me into trying TUMT before PVP.  Had it March
16.  That procedure takes a long time to see results but I must admit I am
having vast improvement.  I wake due to other things, but a couple days ago
for the first time in several years,  I was able to sleep for over 8 hours
without waking.

Apart from that it's great...

Rich:

I am dating a gentleman that has the decreased sex drive from taking
Flomax.  In fact, it has not only decreased but there is no erection.
Also, insomnia is quite present.  Is there something else that can be taken?
Does anybody have any suggestions as this man is having an extremely hard
time dealing with these problems and he wants to split up because of them.
His attitude has taken a total flip.

He has an enlarged prostrate the size of an orange, however, his doctor has
not done any tests as of late.  I have told him that it needs to be done
but he is at the stage of not seeing anything other than there is no sex
drive and all he does is find fault with every little thing I do, even
though I may have just said hello.

Any suggestions on what else he can do would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hold on, Don't blame Flomax because you can't get an erection.

I have to laugh at all the (Doctors Heh) on here, They are quick to jump
and tell others that ( It Don't Work ).

Common , because it don't work for you does not mean it don't work.
If you can't get it up then get some Viagra, (Heh) .

Bob:

IF your comment was directed to my message, I was NOT blaming flomax for
anything.  I am simply questioning what suggestions there are for next
steps. I am looking for any type of answers that might work.  And, by the
way, viagra has been used and he got sick.

No lower back pain, but for the first couple of years of taking it I
experienced discomfort on the right side of my hip. When I stopped the
Flomax the discomfort went away, but so did the beneficial effects that I
needed.

After some trial and error I found that I could cut back on the dosage
without affecting my flowrate and then the hip sensitivity went away.

My original dosage was .4mg, but I reduced it by separating the capsule,
tipping out a small amount and then putting the capsule together again.
Over the past 7 years I have got quite adept at doing this. I also use the
extra flomax by filling new gelatin capsules.

The question many will have is why don't you get a medical treatment?
