The big day, had the catheter removed.(no big deal). Was told to drink
LOTS of liquid, then come back in the afternoon for a ultrasound to see
how the bladder was being voided.
A few hours later, lots of liquid, and NO WAY to pee. Back to the uro in
discomfort.
Still irritation and swelling. Re-insert a new catheter (OUCH) and return
in a week to have it removed. <sigh>
So.....that's the plan. Will fill in the results next week.

Zork,
Sorry to read about your problems. I don't remember why you chose the TUNA
option, but it is good of you to post your experience. I'm sure it will
benefit many readers who are wondering what treatment to chose. Lets hope
that the swelling goes down and you can pee again.

at least he would have been spared the indignity of a cather or any other
kind of damage
