Greetings,

Saw my GP last month in respect of completing the blood tests Dr Muir
requires before consultation, had tests done last week, should get results
this week (Wed).

GP states I must go private because NHS will not fund the op unless referred
direct by Uro, Uro will NOT refer (does not believe in op).

I have stated I cannot afford to go private at ?4,200, but would be willing
to consider paying for private consultation if I have to, I should know on
Wednesday if the NHS will fund the op or not.

I have compiled a dossier of posts and information relating to PVP which I
will use to persuade the GP to let me go, or possibly send to the Uro if
need be.

In the meantime I am still waiting "patient"ly.

Surely the Mafia would do a "hit" for less that ?4,000?  Then you'd have a
new uro!<G>

But, seriously, I am staggered by the arrogance of these people. He doesn't
believe in the op? Name and shame!
