As should Carisoprodol in all states. Don't know about FDA's try to put all
Hydrocodone containing products in C-II. Won't have a safe big enough to
hold it all and I don't like to disperse C-II's in stock. Right now I have a
huge safe for a pharmacy - probably weights a ton or more.

We don't lock up any C-II's. The Oxy is kept on the shelves with the rest of
the drugs.

Just being a Devil's advocate: I always loved inventory day in a pharmacy.
There is nothing like going to college for five or six years and then having
to count all those little pills for the government. I can't think of a
better use for a Doctor of Pharmacy degree than to count tablets. That is
unless you sell smokes and then you can dust off the cigarettes. Don't
Pharmacists have enough control substances to count now?  Why add some more
to count as dope heads can always find something else they can abuse?  Let
the doctors police their own profession.  Unless you sell them carisoprodol
without a prescription how are they going to get it from a retail pharmacy
unless they rob you or forge a prescription?  Cities like New York City have
completely eliminated the chance of armed robbery by refusing to license
handguns.

The counting is a pain.. we do it tomorrow.  However it is nice to have it
when the state board came through for our inspection. I get e-mails almost
daily offering me ultram, hydrocodone, etc... so it is being abused.

All I know is I fill a lot less Stadol NS than I used to since it has been
controlled.

I am still scratching my head over why Midrin became a controlled drug and
why Fioricet is not.

Count dem pills.
