HI ..
I'm being prescribed 20 mg Lexapro.. and am already on a lot of meds
..I'm 73 with Cervical Spine Degeneration among other things :( .. one
of my meds is Percodan ...maybe 3 a day on a bad day. Also, Trandate,
Calan,Questran,Niacin.
Course, I don't really get any good feedback from my Dr and
,unfortunately my CVS pharmacy on potential problems.. can you help me ?
should I be wary of any drug interactions with this new medication ?
           MANY,MANY Thanks !

Ok so your taking Lexapro,Percodan, Trandate,Calan,Questran and Niacin
correct?

I don't see any interactions other than that the cholestyramine can bind
10-30% of a given dose of niacin. So you might wanna take them a few hours
apart.

thanks, Sam ..
oh yes .. I do not take the Questran for One hour before meds ..and/or  Four
hours afterwards ..
Now .. the Dr has changed the Lexapro to Geodon .. and that med scares
me..did research, called cardio and seems that it IS safe to combine with the
Beta and Calcium Chanel blockers .. sheeeesh .. I don't know how you ever keep
up with this info.
         thanks again
