Hello,
I had a stroke on Nov. 10, 2003. At the hospital I was administered
clonidine 0.2 mg, and my blood pressure dropped a lot within short
period of time. My story is in the folloing web page:
http://www.geocities.com/fuliopen/illness/story2.html
To see how fast my blood pressure was dropped, please go to:

I hope experts on this forum can give me your opinions on whether my
problem was caused by the clonidine. If yes, what happened?
Thanks.

a little dizziness after taking clonidine for the first time isn't unusual,
especially if your BP is through the roof. You are fortunate the clondine helped
lower your BP or your stroke could have been much worse and you wouldn't be able to
type anything.
get some regular medical care for your extreme high blood pressure ASAP
The clonidine is not your problem in my layman's opinion.
