P-450 question

If a two drugs are substrates for the same P-450 enzyme, but neither are
inducers or inhibitors (only substrates), will the metabolism of either drug
be altered?

It depends on their affinity for the substrate both have weak affinity towards the particular isozyme (3A4 or 2D6) then you may not see an interaction. if they compete for the same site in CYP-450 one with the stronger affinity alters the other's metabolism hope this helps.
