Is it shifting? We got a casual guy, he does overnights 7 on/off at
Wags. He says it seems like they're fully staffed locally. Big change
from four years ago. And they've got that new school up in Duluth,
they'll be turning out degrees in about 3 years. The balance of power
may be shifting. We hired 5 or more FT in the last 14 months, and a few
casuals too.
What's that world going to be like? When a warm body and a license
aren't enough. Hmmm, brave new world.
The only positions they can't seem to fill here are the vacancies when
all our mid-level management quit at the same time (just a coincidence.)
Everyone says they need to hire some tough managers, clean the place up.
People seems to think these tough managers will only be tough on
everyone else, but not on them.
I just try to do my job.

1 I meant... Subject: SupplY and demand
2 Of course it's a PharmD, i.e. 4 years, but I think it maybe started in
2002, so in three years (or ~2.5) the first class will graduate. Or
maybe they opened in 2003 and they come out in 3.5 years. It's the kind
of thing you can't control, so I don't bother with memorizing the facts.
Sorry for the confusion.
(Just thought it might be nice to have some _pharmacy_ related threads.)
