Amoxicillin Question

Hi All,

I just had a root canal and was prescribed 500mg of Amoxicillin to
take for 7 days. I've been taking them 4 per day since Weds. Today
being Friday and all, is it ok to have a few drinks (beers) while
taking this stuff. The doctor didn't say anything about it and there
are no warning labels on the script? I think I should be ok to go
about business as usual. Anyone have any thoughts other wise?

Yeah, call the pharmacy that you got them from, or better yet, call your
doc. Don't take medical advice from strangers on Usenet.

Here's the truth: as a pharmacist subject to the consequences of my
recommendations, I have never said, nor will I ever say, "Yes, you can drink
alcohol with this medication." I don't want that kind of skin off my nose.
Period. My answer is always no. Call me a pisher if you want.
