South. An alert banker filed CTRs and called IRS when a pharmacist
began withdrawing currency in $9,000 increments from his business
account. The investigation lead to a Medicaid Insurance Fraud totaling
$1.5 million. The pharmacist was submitting numerous claims for each
prescription to the state Medicaid system. He was convicted at trial on
all 75 counts of money laundering and wire fraud and is serving 8 1/2
 years in prison.
