To whom ever can help,
I,m 44 years old going to college trying to
increase my
skills. I've had fybromyalgia for 7 years or longer. Talking to
doctors or
counslers does not seem to help! I have a burning sensation to my
skin, and a lot of swelling in my forearms, and hands. Is there
something new out there to
help reduce the pain and swelling?

                                 Thanx

I would hunt down a fybromyalgia specialist, if there is one. Coricosteroids
for the inflammation maybe? I dunno.

Fybromyalgia is a form of arthritis. You should be seeing a
Rheumatologist for your condition, they will be able to give you
correct medication to help with the condition. If you are currently
seeing a Rheumatologist and they are not helpful then it is time to
get a new one. Remember doctors work for you.

these are not symptoms generally associated with FMS; perhaps you should
seek a second opinion on the diagnosis?
