What do you define as "wealthy"?  If you live in New York City or San
Francisco you may have to pay over a thousand dollars a month for rent.  If
you live in Mississippi then it is more like three hundred dollars a month.
Some States have very high real estate taxes and homes cost a lot.

I believe salaries for staff pharmacists range from 30 to 40K a year up to
$100,000 a year.  This beats the average wage of six or seven dollars an
hour in rural none union Mississippi where I live. Are you talking wealthy
like Bill Gates or a CEO of a fortune 500 company?  If you are the owner of
a successful drug chain you may very well become wealthy.  As it is said,
even a lot of  poor people in America have TV sets, cars, and cell phones.
So they are rich compared to all the Mexicans who want to come to America to
get out of that corrupt country.
