You mean there is a Generic CIPRO ! ! ! ? sure wish I had known that
! I have to pay 100% of my own prescriptions ! and have had 3 times in
the past 8 months I had to get CIPRO ..at $88 for 14 ! ! !
Please let me know so the next time I'll know what to ask for ! ! !
Also, I'm on a pain management program and my Dr is prescribing
Percodan for me and the pharmacy is telling me that it is very difficult
to get the generic Endodan, is it really ? or should I call around other
pharmacies ?
thank you very much !

Don't worry.
Generic cipro (ciprofloxacin) has a higher average wholesale price than the
brand.
First time I've ever seen this.
And the acquisition price is no bargain either.

I just called my store to check the cash prices. Brand #20 = 123.99,
generic 118.99. Third parties don't have to categorize drugs based on
whether the FDA considers them brand or generic. I have dealt with one that
told me that they use the AWP only to determine which co-pay to charge.

Endodan is currently being shorted 'round these parts too pardner.
Interesting that both Endodan and Percodan are from the same manufacturer -
Endo.
And Percodan can cost up to 8 times more.

Endo plays both sides of the fence in the entire Percocet line...both brand
and generic....with a significant price spread between them...explain that?

something interesting about that..is the tablets look SO much alike ..only the
Percodan is scored ..and the Endodan isn't ....lots of $$ out of pocket for that
scoring !
