Tetracycline

Is pure tetracycline photosensitive?
ie does it undergo accelerated decomposition/ageing if exposed to light?
Also, what colour is it?

IIRC, the HCl salt is yellow.  Tetracycline contains a phenol and so
is probably both air and light sensitive.

Well then, I'll keep my DMSO soln in the dark.
