Are there any drugs that can get rid of Gynecomastia?

I'd really really like to know. I'm an 18 yr old male 5'11" and 145lbs
and have an embarrasing problem with Gynecomastia. Luckily, my chest
isn't very big so it's not noticable at all. But it's still
embarassing and shameful for me. I doubt that I can afford a lipo so,
is there a non-surgical way of getting rid of this problem?

Hi,

First of all, I'm not a doctor. I'm just a pharmacy student so keep that in
mind.

There are a number of drugs that are used to help patients with
gynecomastia,

Clomiphene can be given on a trial basis at a dose of 50-100 mg PO every day
for up to 6 months. Tamoxifen is effective in doses of 10-20 mg PO twice
daily. Other drugs used less frequently are danazol and testolactone.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT YOU SHOULD USE THESE. Go to your doctor and he will
evaluate your case.

No, but you've just given 'him' a couple of dosage guidelines. For
the original posters sake, I'll round it out...PO or per os means oral
adminstration.

Yes. Again, to the OP, If you have been using anabolics, tell the
doctor. Or perhaps you have a grave medical condition.
