The BAD advice I'd like to warn people about:

Shop til you drop (of an OD). What is stupid is someone went and
coined a phrase that does not accurately describe the behavior. The
person wasn't Dr shopping they were script shopping. A person can
actually have three or four Dr's and a dentist or two whom they are
legitimately under the care of for numerous issues and have multiple
scripts from each of them with out it being common knowledge among the
various professionals and it not being against the law either.

Thank you so much for the emails; just what I needed
to know to help make chronic pain patients aware of their
responsibility to keep their prescriptions 'in a row'
to avoid problems.
