Hi,

Since Guaifenesin has become so expensive to purchase now, we have taken to
purchasing Guai and making our own capsules the only drawback is that they
are not time released and have to take them every few hours.

I was wondering if anyone knows what medium and in what proportion it is
used to make them slow release capsules.

Thanks
Dan

You can call it slow release but the 600mg is extended release. Making
extended release tablets or capsules is a very complicated process
that you cannot do own your own. You say quai has become expensive, it
is rather unexpensive in 200mg and 100mg tablets.
