The OTC warnings say not to take it if you have high blood pressure, but my
doctor regularly prescribed Claritin (pre OTC) and I believe it has many
more times the amount of pseudoephedrine than something like Sudafed or it's
generics. Comments

Claritin OTC contains ZERO none nada pseudoephedrine.
That said - er typed - Claritin D does contain pse - 120mg in the 12 hour
formula and 240mg in the 24 hour formula but both are extended release.

Most studies show that pseudoephedrine DOESN'T increase blood pressure in
patients with controlled hypertension.

My experience is that most individuals with hypertension that is
controlled with medications, exercise, are generally fine when takin
products containing pseudoephendrine.
