Is it possbile to buy Iburofen suppository ?
My 1-year-old son hates to take a pill by mouth.
His doctor sometimes recommends to take acetamenophen and ibuprofen to
control a fever.
I couldn't find any iburofen suppository from Walgreen, etc.

They can be obtained with a prescription from a compounding pharmacy.

Thanks.
By the way, why does it need a prescription?
I can buy acetamenophen suppository and pill and an ibupropen pill
without prescription.

The company has to want to sell it OTC.  They have to apply for government
approval to sell it without a Rx  and get the package instructions approved
also by the FDA. They may not sell enough suppositories to bother to comply
with all the government red tape.
