Stay away from QS/1. It's overpriced and support isn't the greatest.
Have you spoken with your primary? Maybe they have something.

It's for a new professional pharmacy, and hence there is no "primary." Am
considering all software packages out there. Would appreciate hearing
comments on your present system, both good and bad (as well as cost, tech
support, ease of use, etc.).

It's ok to use, but we'd probably switch if it wasn't for the pain of
learning a new system.
In my opinion, they could be a lot easier to deal with. We got a new
computer, then instead of sending the software or a tech out to
install it, we had to send the machine to them. I don't pay the bills,
so I don't know what monthly or annual costs are, but I believe they
got about $2000 to install the software and they're quoting us another
$700 for a signature device. Tech support is hit and miss. You're just
as apt to get a tech who is very knowledgable as you are to connect
with an idiot. It's a roll of the dice.
It runs on windows NT through XP. We're using the plain old community
pharmacy software package--no point of sale.
