Wellbutrin is just a very different medication than Zoloft. One
serious issue is that if she has been taking Zoloft for a long
time, there is a fairly common withdrawal syndrome. It doesn't
really cause seeking behavior, but the side-effects of withdrawal
can be uncomfortable. One friend of mine (well, perhaps closer
than that) took about 2-3months from a full dose 200mg/day to
zero. There were some lasting issues a little longer than that.
It might be a good idea to be ready to do a slow taper, and
to sometimes re-increase the dose of a zoloft taper. I suspect
that the experience of my 'friend' was a near worst case situation.
(I had another friend who had a hell of a time with a Paxil
withdrawal -- perhaps worse than the other Zoloft situation.)
Taking Wellbutrin isn't likely going to remedy the withdrawal
effects of Zoloft (it MIGHT be a good idea to wait for the worst
of the effects to subside.)
Wellbutrin MIGHT WELL be a little more 'activating' than Zoloft,
while Zoloft can either be anti-anxiety or slightly activating
(or both.) The doctor should be careful about other drugs
in combo with wellbutrin (it isn't really that sensitive), but
it can sometimes cause seizures.

It depends on what your wife wants really. If she's doing great with Zoloft
she may not want to change. Wellbutrin works for some but not all people
(just like zoloft)
