Hello,

I posted a longer version of this question on
a usenet med. support group, but no luck; to make it
short -- is it possible to get withdrawal effects
from chronic diarrhea with some drugs?

What do you mean? Is it possible to get diarrhea as a side effect from
withdrawaling from some drugs?

Or do you mean, is it possible to get withdrawal symptomes after you stop
taking a drug you took for diarrhea?

Closer to the latter: i mean, is it possible to eliminate
a drug through increased voiding and diarrhea fast enough
to stop its prior full effect - thereby causing
withdrawal.

I'm sorry i do not have the technical glossary for pharmacology.
