Hey guys,
I have a question for you that I can't seem to figure out for one of my
classes.  Just to let you know, we're talking about the nervous system,
special senses, cranial nerves, and spinal nerves.  Here we go...

George is 80 years old and has just developed painful blisters that seem to
start abruptly at the anterior midline, circle around his waist on his right
side, and stop equally abruptly on the posterior midline.  What is probably
wrong with George, and what accounts for the pattern of lesions?

Any ideas?  Anything is appreciated!!!  Thanks!

LOL,,

I hope you have a few years to go before you qualify, my friend ;)

George has Shingle, as we call it in the Uk. I dare you to google for the
varicella-zoster virus.

Do you not have textbooks??

Yes, I second that motion...better get a text book and read, do
your homework.  I knew there was a reason I turned Purdue down
to stay in Oklahoma (way back when...1975, hehe)

But, the blisters could also be cause by one of those capsaicin
back plasters being marketed OTC in the USA!
