My local Wal-Mart Pharmacy is still filling my Rx for generic digoxin 0.25
mg. tablets with the brand named Lanoxin. The Lanoxin brand causes me to
have to pay about a $9 Co-Pay while with Digitek my Co-pay was zero.

Why has WM been unable to get in a supply of Digoxin made by another company
like Teva? They said they only order from two sources and they can't get
Digoxin.

Is this because the local WM Pharmacist is not permitted to order drugs from
anywhere that does not give WM a special price break?

We haven't been able to get Lanoxin brand. Back in May, we ordered a
couple of thousand generic digoxin (in both strengths). It was Caraco,
and we've been working off that inventory since. Who knows what we'd get
now.
