Are there any drugs or alternative chemical therapies that evidence of
success for arresting non-metastatic squamous or basal cel carcinomas?
Thanks for any thoughtful replies.

Aldara is FDA approved for treating localized basal cells but IMO works much
better at treating squamous cells.  You apply enough Aldara cream to cover
lesion 3X weekly for 4-10 weeks depending on the size of the lesion and the
extent of the inflammation that occurs, then allow the area to heal. After
the scab flakes off if there is any cancer left either repeat therapy or go
to the dermatologist for excision.  Almost all the SCCs that I have treated
responded. Aldara also works well on actinic keratosis.    AW

3M used to offer a 50.00 rebate for cash out of pocket expenditures. You
might try and look around for the rebate form if you decide to try Aldara.
