Hi,
My husband is on Zetia, but I'm looking for a drug that has a generic form
that does basically the same thing. It is very expensive. Thanks in advance

EZETROL
(generic name - ezetimibe)
10mg tablet
100 tablets per package $176.71

This is the generic version available from Canada  I looked up the price on
several Canadian sites and they all want about this much money. If it is
cheaper enough for you to afford and the drug does it job, then buying it
from Canada is an option.

I have only purchased medication from one particular Canadian Pharmacy and
it was very reliable.  I saved a lot on Prilosec by taking the Canadian
Losec but it is pretty reasonable now in the USA since it went OTC.

Just a little correction. Ezetrol is the name for Zetia in Canada. It's the
same product, under another name, not a generic version.
