Can anybody tell me, or tell me how to find out, whether or not these drugs
are available in Japan?
- Desipramine
- Risperdal / Risperidone
My pharmacist didn't know, but maybe somebody here does?

Interesting question.

Janssen pharmaceuticals has an online wizard to tell you what your
medication is called in a different country:

--
Medication name abroad

If you use our medication and are going to travel abroad, you can find the
name of your medication in the country you are going to. This can be
useful to you if you have to purchase your medication in that country and
also in times of emergency. Just follow this simple wizard in 3 steps:

Step 1  You are in U.S.A.  [Select another country]

Step 2  You're using RISPERDAL   [Select another medication]

Step 3  You're going to JAPAN   [Select another country]

In JAPAN , RISPERDAL is called RISPERDAL .
