That starting in July, in Florida, if a patient wants his prescription
filled

else where he can bring his Rx into a branch of a chain near his Dr's office

or hospital or clinic etc,  and have it filled and picked up at another

pharmacy in that chain ie;  say one near his home,  as long as it is in

Florida?

Is it also true already in Florida, that an item filled by a tech at store

A of a chain,   can be checked via computer screen by a pharmacist

at store B of that chain, even if the two are hundreds of miles apart?

If that is true, what is next,  tech fills the Rx in Fla,  and a Florida

licensed pharmacist in Bangladesh, or Malaysia can check the

prescription via computer screen.  The outsourcing of pharmacist

operations seems to have already started.

Excuse me for top posting BUT this is kind of scary ... Seems I could
own my own store in Florida  and still check and ok an Rx to be filled
while I am in Maine on vacation...???

Boy am I glad I retired !

>for future more scary scenarios.
