A friend of mine who has emphysema was prescribed codeine to be compounded
into an inhalation soln for his nebulizer. I'm old school, and I have never
heard of such a thing. I thought codeine did it's magic by way of the brain.
Does anyone know the rationale for this seemingly odd treatment?
