I've been taking lortab for about 3 months prescribed by my doctor for
pain related to my cancer.  I also have Hep C. There are times I have
to take up to 14  7.5's per day just to tolerate the pain.  I was
recently told that to much tylonel is bad for you, and i know i've been
taking well over 5000 mg of tylonel a day.  What do i do? My doctor
tells me to keep with the pain meds???  Help

Well, you could tell your doc that you are taking that many for the
pain, and risk them thinking you're an addict...or if it's legit why
you are taking so many (for pain), maybe he can prescribe you something
without all that tylenol-at least a norco 10/325, or even Oxycontin.

Is your doctor aware that you are taking up to 14 Lortabs a day?  He could
prescribe medication with less or no Tylenol that would control your pain.
Maybe he is overlooking the Tylenol dose.
