My physician just switched me from monopril to norvasc.  I have heard
that norvasc may be more likely to cause erectile dysfunction.  Anyone
had experience with norvasc? Not particularly pleased to hear about
that possible side effect. 57 yr old male here.
Thanks...

I am using Norvasc since February 2005, together with a diureticum and a
ACE-2 Inhibitor (IOrbesartan), without any problem.

I used to take 5 mg a day. Now I am taking 2,5 mg. a day. I'm 59.

John.

I tried making use of Norvasc and it caused fluid retention problems so I
stopped taking it. It did not cause me to have erectile dysfunction
problems.
