Is it okay to cut a 120mg extended release pseudoephedrine tablet in
half, and will it be the equivalent of two 30mg tablets?

Is phenylephrine safe combined with pseudoephedrine? I'm pretty sure
that's a resounding "NO".

No, you should not do that. Cutting the extended release pseudoephedrine
tablet will destroy the sustained release pattern if the tablet is
coated with a controlled release polymeric membrane.

Better double check compatibility before taking two pills together.

Thanks. I ended up having my wife buy pseudoephedrine tablets with a
smaller dosage. The new laws are such a hassle for people with a cold.
I wonder if they're actually effective against people making
meth...somehow, I doubt it.
