Apparently mothers who take ACE inhibitors for high blood pressure during
pregnancy are at are at risk of their child being born with birth defects.
This seems to cause brain and heart birth defects in the children. If you go
to http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/ace_inhibitors there is more
information and articles on this as well as what can be done about it. There
is also a free case evaluation provided for those who have been had issues
with this. I thought this might be of interest and hope that it may be of
some help.

Hello
Thank you for the interesting message. Methyldopa is generally the
agent recommended for pregnant ladies with hypertension but have seen
ACE inhibitors prescribed for pregnant ladies.
