I've seen an increasing number of orders for a "glassful" of a -lyte
product on a daily basis, usually 4 to 8 ounces. Of course, the
product "expires" in 48 hours after mixing, thereby limiting the
facility to 2-3 doses from the jug. Jugs cannot be shared by different
patients.

Has anyone measured the correct amount of powder for such a dose? I
used a ratio-and-proportion to arrive at the weight of the powder for
a 4 ounce dose, but I was wondering if anyone has already found a
quick way that involves a simple measure or similar that could be
performed at any of the 100+ facilities I'm involved with. It is not
practical for our pharmacy to divide these doses in advance. Golytely
is available in packets, but I'm not aware of the dosage size.

Please reply to the NG or via e-mail. Thanks in advance for any help.

Miralax?

IIRC, 17g of PEG per serving.

Yep.
Before Miralax, I'd seen PEG-3350 written as 1 heaping tablespoon in 8
ounces of water daily.
Turns out that a heaping tablespoon is around 17 grams.
And if yer wondering - there are 17 doses in one of those gallon jugs.
And if yer doin the math (aka on a budget),
Colyte and Nulytely are 25.63 AWP
Miralax (15 doses) is 21.73 AWP
Golytely 19.70 AWP
generic PEG-3350 16.41 AWP
