first day of taking tricor boy i felt like hell.

flu like...  took it easy.

i've been taking lipitor for 2 years or so now.    felt good when i
first started it..  did get a case of restless leg 'syndrom' but that's
done now.

with the tricor i got pink, a wee stuffy, weak and or dizzy?  (couldn't
tell really)

anyone else taking these two?   or someone can give me some details?

i read up online about these but it's just the usual symptoms warning
lists and all that jazz.

like to hear from those who actually take them, how they are doing...
what happened..
what to look for..

i can't wait for my next dose tomorrow morning.   changing the dose's
time now.. did take it with my lipitor what a night.. dropped off in
mini coma and didn't wake up til the sun rose.
wow.

Been on both meds for several years--no problems.  Also, take Zetia and
Niaspan.  Under the care of a very capable endocrinologist.  I take Zetia
and Tricor in the AM, Lipitor and Niaspan at bedtime.  You wouldn't believe
my lipid profile.

Of course, when taking a statin (Lipitor) and a fibrate (Tricor), the
possiblility of developing Rhabdomyalosis (extreme muscle pain and
deterioration, which can affect the kidneys) is increased.

isn't the case of rhabdomyalosis rare?

and what is your lipid profile?
