I live abt 100 miles away from nearest Costco but do
have a membership

I've been thinking abt using Costco pharmacy for the
drugs that are NOT covered by my heath insurance at
work.... and even for those drugs that are but are not
taken as a "maintenance drug".

Example... I take Lipitor or reg basis so can get a
discount from my health insur if I get 90 day supply
thru their pharmacy

But what I'm talking abt is drugs not covered or drugs
you only take once such as an antibiotic for an
infection.

Having said that..... I'm not real happy abt the
service and prices of local pharmacy in my small town
of 18,000

So how feasible is it to mail order those drugs from
the Costco pharmacy?  I know there will be a bit of
delay as it has to come via mail but maybe its worth
it?

Advice?

a small town of 18000? that sounds like a big town, of which you should
have at least 5 different pharmacies at the least. and there isn't one
that has good service? when talking about antibiotics....how much are
they charging you? most pharmacies will price match their competitors
in the area...so call around. and if you have an infection and are
wanting to mail order your drug....is that really the best idea? mail
order is meant for long term drugs.....retail home town pharmacies are
meant to fill your antibiotics and pain meds that you need right now
