I've had an enterococcus UTI since I got out of the hospital right
before Christmas. Symptoms were negligible, so it didn't get dx'd until
mid-Jan. My culture report says it's sensitive to Cipro,
Levaquin,Macrobid, Penicillin, and Vancomycin.

I have been taking Cipro for it for 7 days now, and it doesn't seem to
be working. I was prescribe a 10-day course. Should I finish the Cipro
before trying something else? (Doc says go to Macrobid.) Or go straight
to the new drug?

Thanks.
