I recently noticed that my pinky on one hand seems to twitch
uncontrollably. This really scares me and I wonder if I am going to get
parkinsons or alzheimers. I'm only 24 years old, and otherwise very
healthy.
I don't have any medical insurance, so I thought that I'd ask about it
here first. Is it likely that the pinky tremors are the beginning of a
disease? They seem to come and go. When it starts to twitch at work, I
try to hide it or grip onto something tightly and it goes away after a
few seconds.
I find this terrifying. Please tell me what the causes and/or cures
could be.

How much caffeine, if any, do you drink? Try cutting back if you do drink
caffeine products.

If this really worries you, then you need to see a doctor; that's what
they're for.
Meanwhile, use the other hand.
