Had a patient come into pharmacy today with a script for this. Allergy to opioids (true allergy, too) and a liver transplant (can't have acetaminophen). Looked hi and lo, could not find either. Had to change to Darvon HCL and get aspirin off the shelf. I know lilly sold off the Darvon line to aaiPharma, but e=what happened to the compound/ Is it extinct? Saw Lipoflavoind being advertized on TV the other day... Gosh I have NOT seen that stuff in 25 years? Disapeared from the shelves with C-Quens (spelling ? after all these years I forgot)... Bob G. No Brand name Darvon Compound-65 or generic; in the the USA, anyway.
