Hi----

Are  Metoprolol Tartrate (Lopressor) 50 MG, and Losartan Potassium (Cozaar)
50MG
taken together, appropriate after heart attack and numerous TIA's plus
Insulins  (DM)?

Seems both of them lower blood pressure, or am I missing something?
Is it because Metoprolol Tartrate (Lopressor) 50 MG is also a Beta Blocker,
and that makes it ok?

I'm also on 81 MG Baby Aspirin and Plavix 75 MG, all at Doctor's direction.

I just want to be sure I am not accidentally taking two blood pressure
drugs.

I'll be asking the Doctor, of course, but over this weekend, I am hesitant
to start adding the Lopressor to the Cozaar regimen.

Thanks--
Ron
