Is there any evidence that taking either of these two drugs over time
leads to physical tolerance and does a fixed dose continue to have the
same effect ?

I personally experienced a physical tolerance to diphenhydramine after
taking it for about 4 months. I wasent getting the relief from my
allergies when i first started taking it. The dry mouth that it caused
me also went away after awile.
