Androgynous Caffeine vs Caffeine Alkaloid

What, in general, is the difference between the two and, what effects
do each produce in a non-sensitive person?  Why would either be
preferable (or not) and why? Since I am not into chemistry, I am
looking just for basic information.  Thanks for all replies.

I don't see how caffine can be androgynous. Are you sure you have the right
word? Androgynous means having characteristics of both sexes.

Maybe she means anhydrous?

I kind of like the idea of androgynous caffeine, though. I was looking for
a halloween costume anyway...
