I will be starting the UBC Pharmacy Program next year and was
wondering if anyone can tell me what outside, additional courses I
should have completed before classes begin.  I have my First Aid Level
I and am brushing up on my Chemistry and Biology.  I still have a few
prerequisite courses to take at UVic this winter before I go to UBC,
and have been unable to contact a career counsellor, as I am not yet
officially registered.

Also, can anyone recommend any good pharmaceutical publications?  I
haven't been able to find any on a magazine rack...

Thanks!

Jason.

Admission requirements are here:

Make sure you have appropriate credits for transfer here:

Check your university library for Pharmacy-related magazines like CPJ
(Canadian Pharmaceutical Journal), the Tablet, and, um, a few others I
can't think of.  Or, you might be able to bum a few older issues off a
local pharmacy.  Medical journals include the Lancet, British Medical
Journal, New England Journal of Medicine, etc.

Good luck.
